Timeline

1971

FRISA begins operations as a small forgings workshop in Monterrey, Mexico.

1983

Exports to the United States begin, achieving recognition from the demanding oil industry.

1996

In a joint venture with Scot Forge, the Ringmasters plant located in Michigan, United States
is acquired.

2003

FRISA Aerospace is born, a business division dedicated to forging parts for the aerospace industry. AS9100 and NADCAP certifications are obtained.

2008

The plant located in Garcia Nuevo Leon, Mexico begins operations with two automated
lines for rolling larger diameter rings.

2013

FRISA increases its participation in open die forging by building a dedicated plant to serve
this market.

2016


With a capacity of 350,000 tons of liquid steel, the steel mill starts operations, turning FRISA into an integrated company.

2019


A distribution center is established in Texas, United States dedicated to supplying bars for service centers.

2020


FRISA Precision begins operations, a business division focused on offering finished machining, serving the oil and gas, power generation and aerospace industries.

2021

FRISA commemorates its 50th anniversary
