1999 Area view of the Santa Catarina plant. Service to the wind power generation industry began in late 1999 with the sale of a prototype to EWP, a customer located in Malmö, Sweden. FRISA began to grow in this market segment and, having a presence in Europe, was able to realize that the energy generated by wind, still incipient in the United States at that time, was about to take off on our continent.
